Achteckfliesen mit Einlegern werden ohne Abbruch von römischer Zeit bis heute verwendet und sind absolut zeitlos. Man unterscheidet gleichseitige Achteckfliesen und Achteckfliesen mit zwei ungleichen Seiten. Beiden gemeinsam ist, dass passende Einleger zwingend benötigt werden.
Die Einleger für unsere gleichseitige Achteckfliese mit der Nenngröße 17 x 17 cm sind 7 x 7 cm groß. Bei den ungleichseitigen Achteckfliesen betragen die Maße 16 x 16 cm und die der Einleger 5 x 5 cm.
Traditionell laufen die Achteckfliesen zum Rand hin ungeschnitten aus, dafür werden die Einleger halbiert. Umgekehrt ist es aber auch möglich, die Achteckfliesen zu halbieren. Unsere Achteckfliesen sind als Feinsteinzeug sowohl für den Innen- als auch für den Außenbereich geeignet.
